On Sundays, we bring our drained spiritual batteries, our weary hearts and bodies to the recharging station at the Cross! We can think of a million things that we could do on Sundays, even sleep in late, but the time spent with like-minded folks praying and listening to the Word, always gets us ready for the week ahead. And this spiritual manna source is our Sunday worship.
Our Sunday Morning Worship Service is our main time for gathering together as a church. In the service, we include music, prayers (silent and spoken), scripture readings, a sermon, and the celebration of the Lord’s Supper.
We seek to be intentionally inclusive in worship, especially in our use of language for God and for God’s people. The first thing you’ll notice is that we are a pretty average sized church, you may even find us small by many standards but that means that you will get to know everyone over time and that you will always find a friendly face.
When we worship together on Sundays, our collective effort goes into creating space for people to encounter God and each other. We work extra hard to try and create an environment conducive to these sorts of connections.
Music is a big deal for us. You will generally find a band at our Sunday services leading the singing—playing songs that glorify God
